About

Alo, which opened in July of 2015, is a contemporary French restaurant located atop a heritage building in downtown Toronto. Our cuisine is internationally inspired and celebrates the finest in seasonal ingredients paired with a genuine sense of welcome. We are refiners: we take time-honoured comforts and seek to do them better than we did last time, evolving to make them ever more delightful.

Our Dining Room serves blind, multi-course tasting menus. Comfortable tables accommodate 2-4 guests ($225 per guest). Our chic Barroom, situated in an adjacent room, offers a succinct à la carte food menu to complement its classically-inspired cocktails.
Reservations for the Dining Room open in two month blocks and are made via Tock.

Alo is available to host private events on Sundays and Mondays. Our space can accommodate up to 40 guests for a seated dinner. To enquire, please email us.

Alo is a member of the Relais & Châteaux association of boutique hotels and gourmet restaurants, whose motto is: Caractère, Courtoisie, Calme, Charme et Cuisine.

Wine

Alo’s wine list is first and foremost meant to pair with our cuisine. Bringing together producers with a shared sense of integrity but differing approaches to winemaking and the vine, it is a collection to satisfy both the curious and the connoisseur. Each day, our sommeliers and chefs collaborate to best frame each dish on our menu.
Wine pairings are available in the Dining Room and Kitchen Counter for $135 per guest.
